PERSONALITY
× negative trait ✓ postive trait
Allison easily comes off as the girl-next-door when you first meet or talk to her. She's quiet, but she's easy to talk to. She doesn't dress to draw attention to herself, but she still dresses nice. She's more of the cute, not sexy type. All of this means that Allison sort of, blends in in her own way and with a best friend like Lydia, that's okay for her. Allison's wants nor goals have ever been to be the homecoming queen type. She was always just going to be... her.

While fairly sporty by nature, don't think that means that Allison is the type of girl (despite voracious protests that she's not 'that girl') refuses to wear dresses. Actually, she likes dresses. Allison likes to look good but to her looking good isn't a smokey eye and a pair of heels that makes her killer calves even more deadly - its a well worn leather jacket over the right type of dress that's just enough without being too much. Her goal isn't to be sexy, its just to feel good. To give herself that confidence boost - something that became more difficult after she sacrificed herself to be resurrected. For Allison, the after-effects of her first death came with a lot of self-consciousness, insecurity, and a lack of confidence. After all, death can't leave you unaffected - even if its temporary.

But now? Now that she's narrowly escaped a second death? Allison values the things she always did even more. Her love of history. Her ability to see the light in people. The amount of love she has her friends. Allison will always be a strong, shining beacon of hope. Its what she does. In the face of insurmountable odds Allison is going to come up with a plan, she's going to step out there, sacrifice herself if she needs to. But at the end of the day? She's going to protect the innocent, those that can't protect themselves. What Allison wants and what makes up the core part of her being is the ability to understand that she's screwed up, but has a deepest and burning desire to never make that mistake again.

LIKES Dogs, bowling, archery, red wine over white, sex and she has no problem admitting that.
DISLIKES Secrets and bullies. Sh's also maybe not a huge fan of beer, but then again high schools only serve shit beer.
PHOBIAS Honestly, Allison's not a huge fan of water after the whole fake-kinda-death-sorta thing. Its not so much a phobia as it is an aversion - but its stronger than dislike and being around, say, a freshly frozen pond makes her nervous.

APPEARANCE
HEIGHT 5'8"
WEIGHT 135 lbs/61.5 kg
HAIR Chestnut brown
EYES Hazel
BUILD Slender Athletic
Allison really came into herself in Beacon Hills. Not that she ever really became a full on girly girl - but for a girl who hadn't so much as ever bought a lipstick the influence of Lydia and staying in one place and... okay admittedly being able to find herself in Beacon Hills was really a hell of a thing. Honestly, it was empowering and it showed in the way she presented herself. It showed in the way that Allison walked into a room and it showed in the way she stopped hiding behind her long mousey hair.

At the end of it all, Allison Argent was a woman, she wasn't a little girl any more and the strength that came with daily runs and training exercises and everything that the pack did together? It brought out a confidence in her that she never had before. It brought out a confidence in her that radiated. She was never going to be a girly girl who wore a dress every day, she was never going to master a smokey eye or winged eyeliner, but Allison didn't need any of that. Her charm? It was natural cuteness from those dimples, the little hint of mascara, and the coming-into-herself that made her no longer girlishly cute, but actually gorgeous in the way only someone who really had come to know themself could be.
HISTORY + HEADCANONS
FAMILY
  • Gerald Argent | Grandfather (Alive)
  • Chris Argent | Father (Alive)
  • Victoria Argent | Mother (Deceased)
  • Kate Argent | Aunt (Deceased)
  • Allison has a slew of other long-since-dead French relatives and American branches of the Argent family, but really the only others worth mentioning are the originals, Marie-Jeanne and Henri.
  • Allison didn't really have the most stable of childhoods, it wasn't that her family wasn't amazing and she wasn't close to them - it wasn't one of those type of messes. It was a different type of mess, one that she wouldn't even learn about until later. The thing was, they just... they moved a lot. It wasn't dramatic and it wasn't a lonely army brat thing, it was just... well the Argents had business. And their business kept them moving. To the point where she not so secretly got held back and was always a bit older than her classmates, unaided by her fall birthday, and as much as she triedto make up excuses for it and hide it - it sort of only ever ended up making things worse. San Francisco was honestly the only town that stood out to her - they stayed just shy of a year, her Mom's boutique job was definitely the coolest one she'd ever had (at least to her teenage daughter) and it was just, you know. It was the first time she'd almost felt stable somewhere, that was... until Beacon Hills.

Beacon Hills was... it was different, that was for sure. There was no way Allison could have known that it would take everything and more from her. The thing was, Beacon Hills also gave her everything she could have wanted in life. How does one even describe how things started? The whole falling in love with Scott thing was one thing. It sort of shaped her first year at Beacon Hills, hell it shaped her as a person. First loves do that. She can remember every moment of every thing in Beacon Hills and it all started when Scott handed her that pen. There haven't been many moments, but there have been a few, where she wondered if without that stupid pen if she'd have ever even get taught to be a hunter. If she hadn't fallen into Scott's Pack and been a member of the team and everything hadn't happened, Allison honestly had no idea if her parents would ever have brought her into the fold and that... shaped a lot of how she moved forward - especially after Kate's death, but even more so after her Mother's. But those events? They were miles away from where she was when Scott gave her that pen.

When Scott gave her that pen she was at her first good birthday in years, she was best friend with Lydia, she had the closest group of friends she'd ever had. She was... went through her first bad breakup. She broke up with Scott. Then... then Lydia. Lydia almost died, Peter Hale attacked her at homecoming, what other wise would have been an amazing night. She'd wanted to be with Scott, she'd wanted to let him take that stupidly froo-froo dress off of her in that bus and instead she was... well it was a hell of a way to almost lose your best friend and find out your boyfriend was a werewolf. But she also learned something else...

Her parents, her parents thought she was weak.

The lack of trust her parents had in her was a catalyst for how much Allison didn't give a damn about their moral code and only cared about her own. We protect those that can't protect themselves. That was the only thing that mattered to Allison any more. After what Peter put them through? After knowing that her aunt killed innocent kids? She wouldn't be that person. She wouldn't go down a dark path. Allison wasn't going to let what happened to Kate happened to her. Her beloved aunt had gone down a path possible for any hunter to go down and Allison wasn't going to do it.

There was, kinda the little chink in her plan where she'd promised her Dad she'd break up with Scott, never see him again. Which of course, as teenage love affairs go - obviously wasn't going to work. Perks of were hearing definitely came in handy with, well, getting handsy.

Of course, that didn't really last that long. As soon as Lydia started to get better again and she had her little reprieve of the most annoying thing in her life being how fast Scott could crawl back out of her window... well werewolves had been one thing. But what the hell was going on with Lydia and what the hell was Derek doing? Damn it Derek was a constant thought in Allison's head during the second half of their sophomore year.

As if Derek trying to prove he was the biggest, baddest Alpha on the block by turning a bunch of vulnerable kids that they pack go to school with - there's a Kanima on the loose. Whats a Kanima you might ask? Well its a failed werewolf except its a serpent except it answers to a master except... you know what, its basically about as bad as it seems and at first Derek actually thinks that Lydia is the Kanima. Cue some ridiculous heroics and detective work and they realize that the Kanima definitely isn't Lydia, it was Jackson, who really - inhindsight - everyone should have known it was since the beginning, but of course hindsight is 20/20. Things only get worse when they kidnap Jackson while trying to figure out a cure and then all get stuck in detention with him where he actually loses his shit and causes Erica to have a seizure, which Derek has to break her arm to cure.

It was probably the only moment in the whole debacle where Allison didn't feel like shooting Erica. Again.

Things didn't really get better from there. Lydia really started to go... crazy... and she hated admitting that and even Derek had no idea what was going on. Then Gerard... well, manipulating your granddaughter like that definitely says more about his morals and personality than anything else could and Allison will never, ever forgive herself for the way he abused her Mother's death and twisted her against her friends like that.

Allison had been a child then, she couldn't be a child any more after that.

Allison was going to help people. The pack was going to help people. She, they, whoever - were going to atone for their sins and they were going to live by a different code, similar but not that same. No longer hunt those that hunt us. Now? Now it wasprotect those that can't protect themselves. Human, were, whatever.

But Jackson was gone now and there were new weres and there was Isaac and dealing with what was going on with Lydia. There may not have been a crazy Alpha or a Kanima to deal with - but Junior year clearly wasn't going to be any easier.

Four months in France. That was going to be it. Four months in France, her and Scott would talk, things would be normal. But... that wasn't what happened. It wasn't what happened at all.

Allison had never known if she'd get back together with Scott but then when she came back and the agreement with her Dad to stay out of it? Everything was... it was a god damn mess. There were suicidal animals. Lydia's dreams. An Alpha pack. If she had had a moment to think about it... they might have gotten back together - but there was never really a chance. And then... when she'd been on that roof top and everything was a mess? Everything was a mess and... Isaac looked at her that way? Something just butterfly'd within Allison she couldn't have expected.

Sometimes first loves were just... first loves. Scott was the one who believed in fate after all, not her and... Isaac had looked rather in a way only Scott also ever had. For that brief moment she'd almost forgotten about everything, when they shared that look, and she had to run off...

She had promised her Dad after all...

This might have been a pretty solid part of the narrative where Allison realized she wasn't really... well, good at all of her promise. When it came down to it. When her friends started getting hurt. When Cora got involved. When Boyd turned to the other pack. When Scott and Lydia and Stiles and everyone else needed her? Allison wasn't going to not be there. That wasn't an option. They needed help. She was giving it.

She never did get that talk but, uh, as it tuned out, she definitely had a few pretty good ones with Isaac. But that was just the first half of the year. That was just turning 18. That was just finding her footing. That was just helping Lydia. That was just realizing that first loves sometimes were just first loves. That was just starting to right the wrong of her family and if she thought an Alpha pack was going to be the worst they they tangled with?

Allison was wrong as fucking hell.

    AEQUOREA
    November 2017 - June 2018

Allison arrived at Aequorea and had truly no idea what to do. Stiles was there. Erica was there. Some archer girl that looked like Kira was there. But she never really took the time and felt like she fit in. It was a... lot to reconcile with Stiles since Erica had gotten there long before she did and she never felt like they ever actually got there. Though she did get the time, the months, the opportunity to come to terms with the fact that she died and she did get to finish her first year of college while interning at the museum - which were definitely both huge perks. But Aequorea was almost like Purgatory for her - something she'll obviously be hoping changes here, in this next way point between now and the inevitably death she knows she faces when she wakes up.
    TRAVELERS
    September - December 2018

Having officially turned 19, at least if you ignore a lot of weirdness with timelines and dimensions, in San Francisco - Allison had a sort of wild few months. She'd expected when she woke up somewhere that wasn't Aequorea that she would be in purgatory - and it sort of felt like that for her for awhile. First, her friends were there. Lydia - Stiles - Scott - even Cora and Malia were there and it was nice and then it was gone so quickly. Malia stayed awhile, then... Scott came back and Scott was different and more like she remembered and then the murders started. Oh the murders. Allison had no idea what they were dealing with, but she spent most of her time going on scouting patrols with some other travelers - mostly Octavia and Steve.

On the other hand she was sort of reconnecting with Scott. She's still not sure how she feels about that, sure if she wants to take Traveler!Rose's advice about what was going on. She was pretty sure that Rose was wrong, anyway, right? But I mean, obviously - oh god, whatever.

    REVOLT
    December 2018 - Current

Allison had no idea when she woke up in a panic that she was a few decades and states away on the other side of the country. Wait - now she was in NYC? And... where, where was Scott? Or Rose? Or - oh not again. At least fate had let her finish finals first... now she just had to figure out if that 18 months of college actually counted here...

SadTech really became home for Allison since she arrived - even though after a year here getting her second chance with Scott, he disappeared, she was still happy about it. Not everyone gets a second chance at reliving the spark of first love and not everyone gets the chance to keep living after they've died. So she's taking it all in stride. Even the fact that gigantic asshole Peter Hale showed up and turned her into a fucking werewolf. Which was super great, especially without Scott around but whatever. She's managed. I mean, they don't have an alpha but its kinda just her and Josh so its fine. Keller's been a great help at least. And hey, she's even going to manage to graduate with her BA if she can manage to make it to December (2020/2372)...
    ABILITIES + SKILLS
    ABILITIES
  • Expert Markswoman Weapons knowledge isn't the only thing required to actually be a good marks person, it takes a steady hand, a trained eye, and a level of patience most just don't have. Allison seemed to just have them all come naturally to her.
  • Skilled Combatant This girl doesn't need weapons or claws, a rock, her fists, hell even a chain. Don't you dare step in front of her thinking her not having a bow means you actually have leverage.
  • Expert Weapons Knowledge/Training Does this really need explaining, she was a nationally ranked archer and her parents were arms dealers, come now.
  • First Aid Knowledge You don't become the huntress member of a werewolf pack and not pick up some handy first aide skills. Healing abilities or not.
  • Basic Mechanical Knowledge Hello, she can hot wire a car - she can be trusted with some basics at least.
  • Gymnastic Training Allison for a gymnast for 8 years, which gives her a better sense of agility and her body than your average human.
  • STRENGTHS
  • Skilled Tactician As the Argent Matriarch she sets the law of the land and not only that but it means she's learned a lot of the tools of her Mother's trade, running and planning to take down those who hurt others. Just under a different code. She's show a keen intellect (though she's intelligent in a different way than Lydia, more common sense and pattern recognition than book smarts and just outright genius) when the team needs to come up with a plan.
  • Skilled Manipulator She may not like it, but Allison is actually a damn good liar and she's pretty freaking amazing under pressure. The downside is is that while she's good under pressure, when the right leverage is used - Allison can be manipulated easily herself, like she was with her Mother's death.
  • Skilled Tracker While being a hunter might imply this, even before she started training Allison had a keen, natural sense for detail.
  • WEAKNESSES
Her attachment to her friends, without a doubt. The thing is Allison doesn't really have a lot of outright weaknesses, but how far she'd go for her friends, her willingness to sacrifice herself, those things are all high up on the list of things that can, have, and do get her in trouble. You know that line in Harry Potter where Hermione is like going to get us killed? Yeah, that's basically Allison.
    WEREWOLF
After being turned by Peter Hale when he was woken up by BNU, Allison gained all of the strengths and weaknesses associated with werewolves from her world - ironic, given that she hadn't been back to Beacon Hills in years. This includes increased strength, accelerated healing, increased speed, heightened senses, with the caveat of the downsides of weakness to silver, need to turn on the Full Moon (during the apex), and other less pressing but associated downsides like not being able to cross mountain ash.
    MISC. INFO + NOTES
  • Has really wanted a tattoo since Scott got one, not something lame or matching (even when they were still together even though they're back together even though he's come and gone now), but she'd really like to get an arrow tattoo. For her its not just about the fact that that's her weapon of choice or that she's a hunter or technically the Argent Matriarch, its more about the fact that it represents finding herself, finding her inner power, her inner strength.

  • No one calls her Celestine. This actually wasn't even revealed to her friends until quite awhile after her death. It just sort of never fit her and her parents always just sorta went along with her demands to be Allison.

  • Runs three miles a day - even if now she'll have to trade the preserve for a not even remotely similar looking park (not exactly Allison's preferred setting, but it'll do).
